Little step 01

Find where it stalls

Is the sticking point sorting, drying, folding or returning clothes? Choose one stage to simplify. There is little benefit in a prettier sorting system if the dry clothes still live in a heap on the spare bed.

Little step 02

Choose a realistic finish

Some clothes need folding or hanging; others can go straight into an easy-access drawer. Use the care labels for washing and drying decisions. Give each household member a named basket if that makes returning clothes more straightforward.

Little step 03

Make the last trip small

Carry one basket to its destination and put away a manageable category. Pairing the job with a short song or timer can give it a boundary. Avoid mixing clean and worn clothing in the same unfinished pile.

Little step 04

Keep the route usable

Do not block doorways, heaters or ventilation with laundry or storage. Place drying equipment according to its instructions. At the end, return the empty basket to the place where the next load starts. That is a completed loop, even when another load is waiting.

Keep going, gently
